The most common fibre combination for nonwoven fabric in beauty wipes application is VISCOSE. Viscose are both made fromwood pulp or bamboo pulp and therefore come from a renewable raw material. They naturally have good absorbency and strength properties and are known for their softness. They tend to be used in applications where they prevent irritation to the skin. Then is PET+VISCOSE. Polyester are widely used in producing many kinds of wipes as they are renowned for having good strength.The disadvantage to these fiber is they have poor absorbency due to being naturally hydrophobic. But this weakness is compensated for by viscose that makes the fabric even more economical.
